The location was perfect, nestled amidst a charming mix of farmland, woodland, and moorland. We took full advantage of the Dava Way path, exploring the stunning landscapes on foot and enjoying off-road cycling adventures. After a day of exhilarating outdoor activities, we returned to the comfortable surroundings of the schoolhouse to relax and unwind. The warm hospitality and attention to detail provided a cozy retreat after exploring the finest malts in Speyside. The perfect place for families to create lifelong memories.
My children wanted more time to explore the fantastic outdoor activities nearby.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I loved the fact that the rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The beautiful views of the surrounding natural areas were a definite highlight, and the warm hospitality of the hosts made it all the better. They offered delicious breakfasts with locally sourced ingredients and provided great tips for activities in the area. The attention to detail in the refurbishment of the building was also impressive.
Honestly, I don't really have any negatives to report about my stay at this hotel. The only thing that I could think of is that it's a bit far from the town center, but that's also what makes it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

I had a truly exceptional stay at this beautiful home away from home. The suite I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The owner, Andy, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable and enjoyable. The breakfasts were delicious and served in a charming schoolroom. The location was perfect, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep while still being conveniently close to town. The only drawback was the WiFi in the guest suite not working, but there was ample 4G coverage available. I highly recommend this exceptional accommodation.
